Story behind the song:
This is one of my older songs and was heavily inspired by a girl I dated in my 20's. She was pretty negative about my love of playing guitar and songwriting. She didn't take my ambitions seriously and tried to make me feel like I was just wasting my time. Needless to say, I dumped her and am so glad I didn't let her get to me because whether or not I ever make a penny off of it, I love taking these ideas in my head and turning them into songs. Wish I could have played this song for her then, but oh well. Writing it was good therapy. Kristine, this one's for you. :)
